Saint Valentine's Day is observed in 14 February each year.It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them. There are many legends and facts about St. Valentine's Day. Here are some ways that people celebrate this day in some countries:
While the European folk traditions connected with Saint Valentine and St. Valentine's Day have become marginalized by the modern Anglo-American customs connecting the day with romantic love, there are some remaining associations connecting the saint with the advent of spring.
While the custom of sending cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts originated in the UK, Valentine's Day still remains connected with various regional customs in England. In Norfolk, a character called 'Jack' Valentine knocks on the rear door of houses leaving sweets and presents for children. Although he was leaving treats, many children were scared of this mystical person.
In Slovenia, Saint Valentine or Zdravko was one of the saints of spring, the saint of good health and the patron of beekeepers and pilgrims. A proverb says that "Saint Valentine brings the keys of roots". Plants and flowers start to grow on this day. It has been celebrated as the day when the first work in the vineyards and in the fields commences. It is also said that birds propose to each other or marry on that day. Another proverb says "Valentin – prvi spomladin" ("Valentine — the first spring saint"), as in some places (especially White Carniola), Saint Valentine marks the beginning of spring. Valentine's Day has only recently been celebrated as the day of love. The day of love was traditionally March 12, the Saint Gregory's day, or February 22, Saint Vincent's Day. The patron of love was Saint Anthony, whose day has been celebrated on June 13.
Isabelle Geffroy (born 1 May 1980 in Tours, France), better known by the nickname Zaz, is a French singer-songwriter mixing jazzy styles, French variety, soul and acoustic. She is famous for her hit "Je Veux", from her first album, Zaz, released on 10 May 2010.

Her mother was a Spanish teacher, her father worked for an electric company. In 1985, she entered the Conservatoire de Tours with her sister and her brother, and attended courses from the ages of five to eleven. She studied music theory; specifically the violin, piano, guitar, and choral singing. In 1994, she moved to Bordeaux. In 1995, she took singing lessons, and played sports for a year in Bordeaux, all while studying kung fu with a professional coach. In 2000, she won a scholarship from the regional council, which allowed her to join a school of modern music; the CIAM of Bordeaux (Centre for Musical Activities and Information). Her musical influences included 'Four Seasons' by Vivaldi, jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, and other singers such as Enrico Mancias, BobbyMc Ferrin and Richard Bona, as well as African, Latin and Cuban rhythms. In 2006, she moved to Paris.
In 2012, Zaz went on tour and held concerts in various countries around the world including Japan, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Turkey, among other countries.

I go to the Lower Class of the English School "YES!". I play the piano for about 4-5 years and I think it is the most relaxing and enjoyable thing someone can do in their free time. I listen to pop-rock and punk-rock music. My favourite bands are 5 Seconds of Summer (which I like since May '15) and Twenty One Pilots (which I've been listening to since December '15), although I like many more bands, for example Arctic Monkeys. Also, I truly love Halsey, Troye Sivan and Melanie Martinez. I also love watching videos on YouTube. My favourite YouTubers are Issa (twaimz), Colleen (colliscool), Ellena (ellenawhat), Connor (ConnorFranta), Jack (jacksepticeye) and last but not least Felix (PewDiePie). My favourite food is obviously pizza. I absolutely hate waking up at 7pm in the morning - let's be honest, who doesn't? My best friends are Efi and Dorina.
